Hi there just a quick update on fishing till Aug 22. Fishing has been a little up and down like the weather the last couple of days but is picking back up. In the last two days two of our guests have caught two Chinook over 40 pounds and we have six over 40 pounds so far this season. Coho fishing has been good with lots of large Coho, 19 pounds is the biggest so far and the rest of the season should be very good on Coho. Good news from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, they doubled the forecast for Chinooks returning to Nootka also they changed the Halibut retention to two Halibut a day and two in possession instead of one per day two possession.
